December 6th's outage - what we're doing to say sorry [Updated]

I was affected greatly, I rely on gift gaff for all communication no data is awful but I actually couldn’t get any calls and was expecting a very important call from the USA the day the signal went down, it was hard to get this call arranged in the first place and ended up having to call them using a landline as I couldn’t email them to let them know this as data went which obviously cost me out of pocket when the company were going to call me on my mobile. I would like to receive good will credit as soon as possible please. Thank you.

Can honestly say it didn't have any impact on me.  Thanks for the offer GiffGaff, but I'm good.

In other words, giffgaff are well within their rights to cancel your sim, same as everyone else saying they use theirs for work/commercial purpose. At least this thread will be usefull for giffgaff as they can easily see who is breaching their agreement Smiley Wink

You don't know anyone who could have sent an email for you ? Really ?

The calls are still messed up and messages come and go super late like i have to keep pressing resend and i haven’t received any email

The outage was hours, not days. Everyone who is saying they still can't use data or make calls or text, the issue was fixed the same day it occurred. If you are still having problems, try rebooting your phone. The original issue is not to blame.

 

Interested to be told today by someone else on giffgaff who has an iphone, that all her calls to other iphones are free anyway and are not reliant on giffgaff. Sooooo, everyone having a moan, do none of you use iphone ? Do none of the people you needed to speak to or text use iphone ?

Hmmmm !

[ My phone is android and many other people wont have iphones, but I would be interested to know how many complainers do have iphones Smiley Wink ].
