£25 Goddy Bag ?

Status: Idea Vault

Hi,

I am just new to the whole GiffGaff experience and think that I have perhaps found my perfect mobile phone network, with one limited exception - the Goody Bag top up amounts.

In particular, it’s a shame that there is not a Goody Bag offering in and around £20.

So, what I would like to propose is….

The £25 Goody Bag

Which could offer something like...

  • 600 minutes
  • Unlimited texts
  • Unlimited Internet

Given that GiffGaff is aimed squarely at those switching from other networks looking for a sim-only plan, it seems unusual that there is not a ‘tarrif’ to compete with the ‘moderate user’ offerings of other networks.

Welcome

I think you'd find that if it happens a 600 minute goodybag would be likely to cost a more reasonable £20

It's been suggested before in fact, more than once; this was the first, and the £20 and £25 bags were set as subject to future review

Someone's beaten you to it Smiley Tongue

They are considering adding a £20 and £25 goodybag in the future.

I do agree, there is a bit of a jump between the £15 and £35 goodybags, so they could probably look at something in the middle?

YES YES, and MORE YES!

I flipping well need more than 300 minutes, but i don't need "unlimited" for £35. Just give me £20 or £25 and i'm happy. Otherwise i'm paying as much on contract. Currently i get the £15 but every month so far have used credit to make calls when my minutes are up.

KUDOS (even though I've personally suggested it before, and it had already been sugested before that haha!)

Also, just to note:

I'm keen on ideas which are very single-purposed. The idea suggested previously was "some more goodybags and some more data please"- or something equally cryptic.

Thanks KDM for a very clear and precise idea! This makes more sense to me than the last idea that has been linked in the comments.

Is a Goddy bag only for Christians though? (sorry... couldn't resist...) Smiley Wink

I agree we need a £20 Goodybag.

I have just joined giffgaff and switched my 2 lads over as well but I can't switch the missus - she is currently on O2 simplicity 12 month £20 and gets 800mins, 1600 txts and Unlimited (500MB I think) data. she uses about 500 mins, 300 txts and about 10MB of data a month which even buying the £15 goodybag would cost £31 on giffgaff, £11 more than she is currently paying.

Come on giffgaff, can we have a goodybag for the medium users please?
