I think it would be nice if we could order a GoodyBag or apply credit via text

I'll explain scenario, today i wanted the £5/month GoodyBag but really did not want to log on to my laptop [cos its sooo slow], so could have just texted "£5 Goodybag" to a GG phone number, [if your credit card details are saved online] they then in a text back ask me to confirm what i am buying and then apply the respective goodybag/credit to my account. Then if i wanted credit i could have texted "£5 credit".

Just an idea, leave your comments or if you like it Kudos the idea

please note: i added the "apply credit" idea  from the response from 'geekonthepc'. So many thanks to him/her

19th May 2015 - Evening guys, this Idea is over 5 years old, and whilst we don't want to say we won't ever do it - it is habitually is de-prioritised due to the complex nature of the system, and a concern it would raise cases for members accidentally buying the wrong goodybag. This idea can absolutely be re-posted when the new Platform launches, and members can have a fresh discussion about whether they want this and whether they think it would benefit giffgaff to have.

Kudos to darren, i agree there. Smiley Happy I wish i could buy one out of my airtime from 43430 and alot of people whom i know are moving to GG i am going to have to do it myself because a few of them dont have internet and in a couple of cases, the phones have no WAP capability.

I think by text or from your mobile on the top up number, like on O2 you can choose your tarriff and bolt ons through the top up number.

Its rare that someone would top up and not buy a goodybag, so at the minute they can top up via their mobile phone but then need to go to a computer to buy a goodybag before they use their credit.

@jm94: I'm in the same position. =/

@Adam: I'm not sure if you can top up with your phone. I don't think you can.

What's your definition of soon Vincent? Obviously not the same as mine as this is a year old thread and still you can't do it!!! Old people are scared of the internet and can't really see what they're doing on a mobile device. Not to mention people without internet access. We need this feature asap

DO IT. Get on with it!

Would be good, but would it require you to have already input ur credit card details online, or does it come out of your airtime balance

I would like to point out that a few of the more experimental giffgaffers are still using beem mobile payments to buy vouchers today.
