As some of you know, there was an outage yesterday from around 16:00 till about 17:00 which affected a small number of members on giffgaff. We were able to fix the issue within the hour and are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
We have identified where the issue started and are investigating further to make certain this does not happen again.

Like I stated on a number of threads yesterday I know the real reason that the network went down......
Vincent was on a rather hot date last night, and in order to prepare himself took the wrong plug out so he could use his hair dryer.
Obviously that isn't the real answer because Vincent can't get a hot date, but it makes sense that until Giffgaff are able too work out what went wrong, and can managed to explain it to it's customers without going to technical then we should just accept the confirmation that yes we are aware and investigating why. Writing blogs on other sites complaining that the network was down for 30 mins really is taking the ****, like one customer has done.
All of the major networks suffer outages from time to time. Orange are having major problems with their data at the moment and they don't have a clue when it will be repaired
