I hope customers that have been affected get something to make up for this poor service. Perhaps extra data because it’s so annoying that we’re paying for the data. A whole day of data wasted. And god knows how long this is going to last. I’m paying £25 for unlimited data so every day counts. Please do something.

Giffgaff are the providers of the service, they should compensate next time your boss asks you to work for free for a day go ahead, we have paid for a service we are not getting.

ive read so many posts on here its quite silly how angry some of u are getting im with giffgaff and im annoyed but thats life things happen giffgaff team are working hard to resolve it just be paitent its not just giffgaff its 02 tesco mobile sky and lyca and libra i no this coz have some mates on these networks and there experencing the same issues Just be paitent

I’m really hoping that it’s fixed by the morning as I use my phone for work and there for if I have no phone haveto take a day of and will giffgaff pay me my lost days wages

Will there be compansation offered to people as they have paid for something they can't use yes it's a third party problem but never the less we the customer are losing out.

I think we are all very disappointed that in 2018 there is no failover and essentially anyone who might be using their phone for business will have been impacted fairly seriously. Fortunately I have another phone which is on the 3 network, which has not been impacted (Three uses Samsung hardware not Ericsson lol). I guess once Ericsson finish "patching their cockup" normal service will resume...lets hope there are no more surprises Ericsson has to rush to fix!
