LG G3 Launch Event (Vlog by @zoeawesome)

Hi Community!

Yesterday LG launched their brand new flagship, the LG G3 and I went to it's unveiling event to report back!

The handset sets the bar even higher in the already extremely competitive flagship market with it's QuadHD 5.5" display and laser instant autofocus, which focuses in under 300 milliseconds, quick than a blink! These two features which have not been used in smartphones before this release so it's great to see some innovation from this handset.

There's also a smart keyboard, Smart Notice (like a PA and offering you tips at the right times), and some security features - Knock Code, Content Lock and Kill Switch. all of these are elaborated on in the video above.

The event also showcased a lot of its accesories, wireless chargers, smart cases, bluetooth stereo headsets, portable chargers, along with the G Pad and soon to be released G watch.

It was a great night and fantastic opportunity to get to go to a flagship launch, having the chance to speak to tech jounralists and get a hands on!

But now I want to know what do you think? Is this the LG G3 capable of taking on the top 5, or even 10? and what feature are you most interested in? Is screen size and defitition extremely important to you when investing in a flagship?

as always lets discuss in the comments,

until next time!

The best flagship differenting aspects of the LG G3 are the removable battery, and the extremely small bezel which make the 5.5" screen no bigger than a 5" HTC One M8 or 5.1" Samsung S5! All smartphone makers seem to have high resolution screens now and everyone is trying to improve their cameras, so I'm interested to see if the LG G3 camera's laser technology actually makes a difference in real life.

@zoeawesome I envy all these product launches that you're going to! Keep it up!

Looks nice but after having an LG phone before.....never again.

I don't think that I've ever seen or heard anyone complaining that their full HD IPS display wasn't sharp enough, nor that their mobile phone cameras take too long to take photos. If they'd have forgone the pointlessly super high resolution screen but kept the battery improvements they might have had a smartphone that lasts for days on a single charge, now that'd be impressive.

@jeff_elephant yeah! there was so so much to fit into this video, the removable battery is a great feature, I hope I can keep it up!!! I'm really enjoying making videos such as these Smiley Happy

@seanalert ah, I said that about HTC but I have a HTC One now and it's absolutely wonderful!

@stephenmiller I do agree with you there, to think that the old nokias could last for weeks, what a luxury. personally i don't really see the point of such sharp deplays, HD is already more than necessary! who actually does things such as watch films on their phone? im sure its a tiny amount, netherway im not really complaining, i love getting to go to such events I just think there could be other things to improve on, like you said, the battery.
