Hope you are all well. I have the winners of the Sony photography competition Before I announce them though,I would like to thank all of you that have taken part in this competition. We had so much entries which was great to see.
It was very difficult to only choose 3 winners as we had so many amazing pictures for this competition, so it took a while but we got there in the end and picked our 3 winners. So, the 3 winners who will be receiving either a Sony Z3, Sony Z3 Compact or an E3 are:
Winner of the Sony Xperia Z3: jihyunseo
We love how this picture was taken in a way where it emphasises the sweet treat as well as the Eiffel Tower. The pastry is nicely aligned with the Eiffel Tower and those strawberries look delicious! Who is now tempted to eat one of these delicious strawberry pastries in front of the tower?
Winner of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact: laurienne
We love this simple picture of these pink tulip looking flowers. The greenery in the background makes the picture even more beautiful as the pink stand out even more. And is it just us, or do the flower shapes look like hearts?
Winner of the Sony Xperia E3: Becky from Music and Manxies (blogger)
We love this beautiful view of the Isle of Man. The green grass, the blue sea and the clear sky was a winner for us and has tempted us to go there so we can see this view in person.
So, there we have it; our 3 winners of the Sony photography competition. Congratulations to all 3 of you! Please private message me your address details so I can send you the phone you've won.
Again, thanks to all of you for taking part in this competition.
Thanks to all of you that have taken part in this competition. We've had lots and lots of entries which is great to see We will start going through the entries today and early next week and will announce the winners as soon as we've gone through all the entries and made a decision.
You may have seen our regular Photography Challenge threads on the community where we have a new theme every two weeks (the theme this time is landscapes). The rules are pretty simple: use your mobile to take a photo (not a regular camera) and upload your entry. Easy right?
Well, this time we’d like you to do something a little different. We’re challenging you to show us the best photo you can take on your mobile without using any kind of editing software or colour filters (you may crop, if you wish).
Snap a shot of an early sunrise, or perhaps a dramatic landscape. As long as your photo has #NoFilter and is taken with your mobile phone, then we want to see it!
Please note, for the blog and Twitter option, you can also post the link to your entries on this blog too if you would like to share your photography skills with other members
Your photos don’t need to follow a particular theme but they will be judged on quality, creativity and composition, so have a good think about what your entry is going to be!
If you suffer from bad mobile camera quality and feel like upgrading then you should check out our full range of snaptastic phones to find a handset with the specifications to match your photographic ambition.
Now on to the prize! You may have been following Sony's announcement last night where they announced not only one, but three new smartphones which are to be released at the end of the month. We will be choosing one winner and two runners up for this competition. The winner will win the anticipated Z3 and one runner up will win the sequel to the Z1 compact - the Z3 compact. The other runner up will win the E3 which is Sony's cheapest LTE phone.
We will decide the three winners for this competition and as mentioned before, we will be looking out for creativity and quality in the picture.
To enter, simply:
We will be keeping an eye out for all blog posts, tweets and comments that are linked to this competition so everyone will have a chance of winning one of the three Sony phones. We know there's a lot of bloggers who love to share snapshots of their life, so we will be giving one phone away to a blogger and the other two phones will be given to two member that have won the competition through their tweet or their comment here.
