i use texts and calls maybe twice a year tbh and with apps like WhatsApp i think this applies to most people these days.

a bag with more data and no texts/calls would be super, the gigabag on offer is so uneconomical it's not worth buying, only application i can think of for it is in use with a gps tracker or some other niche application.

meanwhile I'm paying 12 pounds purely to have the data and most months all the texts and calls are 100% wasted.

only reason i joined giffgaff was the unlimited data for £10 that used to be on offer years ago.

@iamsomebody Your never going to please everyone I'm afraid. I'm the opposite to you, I don't use hardly any data but use my giffgaff sim mainly for calls.  Overall though I think the selection of goodybags that we do have are fair value and reasonably varied .

Have to agree with padiho. I think there is probably room for improvement in view of what some of the newer networks are offering ( smarty for instance is one ) but in general I'm happy with my service from giffgaff

There used to be a £12.50 goodybag, but it was discontinued when it ended up with less data than the £12 goodybag. So just ignore the allowances you don't want - just as the people who want calls but no data have to,

The saving from taking the £12 goodybag & removing the calls/texts would be small - so you would just be adding un-necessary complication to the goodybags.

@iamsomebody just look for a 30 day rolling contract data only.

Hi @iamsomebody giffgaff have only recently revised their goodybag tariffs so are unlikely to revise them again any time soon. Also they've discontinued two of their gigabags leaving just the one £5 gigabag which is not a good sign that they will have better data only gigabags or data centric goodybags in the future.

Im agree with some of the other comments I use my calls more than I do anything else I rarley use my data as I alwats find wifi to connect to. Everybody wants something diffrent most members do want data but you cant make the goodybags mostly data as its excluding thoses who dont paticulally need it its about finding a happy medium.

Giffgaff are looking into improving data speeds and more data for goodybags in 2018.  Lets see what happensvin 2018.  The goodybags do need to be improved both price wise and the allowances they offer.

GiffGaff used to have a range of data only GigaBags. However, they've slowly been withdrawn and there is only the £5 500MB GigaBag left.

I guess giffgaff make their money from the calls and text we dont actually use? So ideally a 10gb bag with 100 mins and 100text would be fantastic - but they wont make the cash
