[BUG] Dashboard intermittently doesn't show active goodybag

I have an active £12 goodybag which started over 24 hours ago, however occasionally my dashboard states that I don't

logging out and back in usually fixes this. The app doesn't seem to have this problem.

That's frequent behaviour. Its annoying that giffgaff doesn't fix it, but it's very common if you've been logged in to the forums for a while (about 20 minutes seems to be sufficient).

 

Sometimes, logging out and logging back in will fix it. If it doesn't, then:

 

  • close the browser
  • make sure no other browser windows are open
  • open a new browser and log in
  • go to the dashboard soon after, so that the dashboard server doesn't have long enough to time out on you.

 Yes, its a BUG which has been around for years and needs fixing -- but giffgaff seems to think it's a very low priority.

Yes it seems to occur after you have been logged in for a while.

I would say that it's probably an easy fix and giffgaff should devote some resource to fixing it. After all most members would only probably look at their dashboard and goodybag/credit purchase pages. It's all about getting the details right.

.... I haven't come across this .... Yet!

Mine is all ok, (via a desktop or mobile browser), at the moment! .... I don't use the giffgaff app. Smiley Happy

@endorphin i use the app majority of the time so have not had the issue, i will however check this by logging into the website.
