Okay, an accolade...
I had £40+ credit on another, now unused Giffgaff account.
I wanted to move the credit to another much used, my main Giffgaff account.
So, expecting a lot of excuses and fob offs...
Yes I have experienced most of the other network providers...
But not with Giffgaff.
Damn it the transfer was done effortlessly and no stress in 24 hours.
This has to be an all time first in my decades of history of phone and Internet providers. The thousands of pounds the "others" have duped me out of... You don't want to know.
So, big thanks to the team and community crew, you work with a good company.
I am so impressed. At last a telcom company that is not a rip off.

Now that's what I call a success story! That's absolutely fantastic to hear @malcmcldow
I must admit, I was a bit worried when I first started reading. You nearly had me there!
Glad it was a smooth and positive conclusion! Yay!
Yeah, I meat every word.
Still getting over it, the good service that is.
You see I was broke and the credit on the "unused" account was all I had left.
I needed the phone to make money.
So thanks to Giffgaff... I was back on line...
Sent my article to the paper and am £180 richer.
Good one Giffgaff.
Quote me as you will.
That's absolutely heart-warming to hear. Things like this make all the difference! Very happy for you, and congratulations on the £180 too!
I ment ment!
What I do know after 30 years of telcom nonsense, the "community" aspect of Giffgaff is the way to go.
Other telcom companies, watch out.
That's OK, I knew what you meant.
You're 100%! I couldn't be happier either. Especially with payback system! Some extra money in the pocket. Happy days.
I'm confused @malcmcldow. It is my understanding that giffgaff don't, won't, or can't transfer credit from one account to another account.
If that is what you have somehow managed to get them to do then please do tell us how you did it as I'm sure there would be a lot of members who would like to do the same.
Or am I getting confused and what you have actually done is perform a SIM swap?
@malcmcldow nice one glad all went smoothly with transfer a very warm @
