When you run out of data in your goodybag you can add more for a reasonable price for example  say you buy the £10 Goodybag you get like 3GB and when you’ve used it all instead of paying another £10 for another goodybag to get another  3GB you could just add it on for like £4 and keep your calls and texts till your goodybag expires

This has been mentioned many times on here but giffgaff are not keen on bolt ons am afraid. Currently you can add a new goodybag when your current one runs out of allowance before the package expires but you lose any remaining allowance in that package as it will be replaced by the new one purchased.

Or you can add just airtime credit to be charged 2p per MB data for the remainder of the current goodybag

@ria_smith

There is no point for goodybags £10 or more as they have unlimited minutes and texts anyway.

The only goodybags this would be applicable to are the smaller bags and your suggestion wouldn't be commercially viable

@ria_smith £10 goodybag actually gives you 4GB of data from your 3rd goodybag onwards. However, if you're constantly running out of data on the £10 goodybag, £15 would give you 9GB of data (just £1 more than per your example). If you only run out of data occasionally, you can always start your next goodybag early, so depending on how long before your goodybag expiry date you renew and how often that happens, that could work out more or less the same money wise per, say, calendar year compared to buying a hypothetical data add-on.

ive always though a data add on till the end of an existing goodybag is a good idea @ria_smith

but giffgaff offer the option of starting a goodybag early so i can`t see it happening

I think it’s a good idea but I think we’re in the minority.
