I've just noticed that logging into the exact agent form,

This for instance

https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Phones/Place-or-remove-an-IMEI-bar/form/

Redirects to the main agent form

But if you're already logged in and THEN click the direct category, it does go to the correct page,

So it's something to take into account when advising,

Perhaps ask them to log in first

Before they click the agent link

Alternatively

Put the redirect log in prefix

https://giffgaff.com/auth/login?redirect=

Before the link , like so

https://giffgaff.com/auth/login?redirect=https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Phones/Place-or-remov...

That makes sense now. I wondered why some take you to the main ask page and some directly to the actual link required.

Thanks

@persco

Yes that would depend on logging time outs

You can't test what I'm getting at, by

Logging out

Click the first agent link and logging in

Logging out again, then click the second agent link with the redirect at the front

Well that explains why some people are having problems following the links @sloz! Smiley Happy

Also I like your suggestion about prefixing the redirect. This should be quick and easy for gg to do (hopefully).

I’ve noticed this myself.

Might be an idea to flag this to @antonlg so it can be discussed in the KB editors group.

Cheers @dez_d. Already flagged with the tech teams - I think that redirect should actually work Smiley Happy
