Well it's supposed to be "quality over quantity", but going by some of the people that say they 'earned' £50 for the previous month actually tells me that quality very obviously doesn't come into play.

A 'lol' a day, will earn you pay, apparently!

@smithster225225 im happy with my payback however i agree with you ive been fairly active got plenty of kudos and even got a new best answer last month i was less active snd got more payback

So im confused with how payback is paid.

essie112mm if giffgaff remove payback ppl will leave and giffgaff would have to reduce the rates and come up with other incentives for ppl to stay

@shabazmoqsud
Good Afternoon.
The method of calculating Payback is not available to members as it could lead to gamemanship.
However the ratio of Best Answers to Posts is a big factor taken into account.

@bluenose55 its not money for nowt.

Giffgaff is online only what members do is provide free customer service

If giffgaff had proper customer service they would have to hire more staff

Giffgaff saving millions by not hiring staff for customer service and give a fraction back as payback for customer support members provide so its not for nothing we are doing giffgaffs job for them.

Well i rarely post, but i did post a handful of times in October, and my payback is very generous.

I think maybe 'less is more', in regards to posting.

I find it very random from month to month, don't be disheartened

The payback calculation is so opaque that it is completely impossible to determine what behaviours are being encouraged.

I have always been very happy with my payback. October was a particularly good month in the reward I received, however I do feel it reflects the time I put into posting.

Agents would have a lot more queries and complaints to reply back to if it wasn’t for a lot of users helping in the forums.

I also think some users go above and beyond to help. If they gain a bonus for doing so, so be it.
