Won't let me have unlimited data with £15 goody bag now. Gone down to 4GB and 1000minutes..
Used to be £10 for unlimited internet, texts and 250 minutes..data amount keeps going down and minutes up.. If i wanted more minutes I'd choose a goodybag with more minutes!!
Now I'll need the £20 one to get my data. Cheers guys 👌 really know how to keep customers happy.

Hi @christina6560

On the 2nd of September goodybags have gone over some changes where 4G comes standard with every goodybag & unfortunately the £15 goodybag unlimited goodybag is no longer available. To learn more about the new goodybag changes please see this thread https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Announcements/Introducing-our-new-4G-ready-amp-tethering-friendly-...

Hi

This is because the goody bag structure was changed to include 4G at no extra cost. GiffGaff would begin loosing money at a rapid rate if they offered unlimited data as cheaply as they have been known to do in the past.

Regards

the great thing about giffgaff is you have no contract, so you are free to change if you can get a better deal elsewhere

I think you will find the whole of the mobile business is as much a rip off as GG, they are not alone in this factor.

They'd have a whole lot more unhappy customers if they let the whole of the UK's mobile phone population use their network for unlimited data (because they'd clearly be the cheapest, so everyone would come to giffgaff), only to find it's unusable because the bandwidth they have can't support the surge in demand.

You have to look at the bigger picture sometimes.

The newppricing structure for goodybag's was introduced on the 2nd. September, and part of that was the withdrawal of the £15 goodybag with unlimited data for loyal member's.
I regret the passing of this bag that was very attractive to many member's.
I cannot get 4g in my area, and my Smartphone is not capable of receiving it.
I feel that member's like me are subsidising the introduction of 4g on the network.
It would be better if the present £15 goodybag was increased by 1gb to 5 gb this may make it a little more attractive to some member's, I know it would make a big difference to me.

i know this might be a rubbish suggestion but why dont you get a dual sim phone and have two numbers and have a goody bag and a gigabag
