@holytrojan Yup if you're happy to lock in for 12 months sim only contract. There is a one month option but it's £20 same as giffgaff. The big difference is Three offers 1TB data FUP so no 256Kbps cap when you use 6GB in month like giffgaff plus its 3G is generally much faster and more reliable than giffgaff. It also inlcudes a tethering allowance of 4GB( 8GB on plans with more than 200 mins), feel at home roaming, Intouch etc.
Indeed as I understand things the next to go is the free calls to other Giff Gaff users in November, why then should I plug it to my friends?
May I ask where you got this information please?
This regularly comes up with people thinking their own personal free calls expiring due to needing to top up is everybodies free calls expiring forever.
Watch out people.A educator "abbi" said my posts are too negative. So now we cant have a moan at how bad giffgaff is.Whats next?
The truth does hurt sometimes in life.. maybe giffgaff have had a shock on how many people have left lately..?
Many members would like More Data cheap. The truth is that O2/giffgaff can't supply Unlimited data anymore.
Data is a finite resource and it seems that O2's bandwidth is about the smallest of the networks. Selling limited data plans is more sustainable because members are forced to use less, rather than pay for what they actually use which would be very expensive.
I'm not defending giffgaff, just telling it like it is, I brought all my Family to giffgaff and now I'm slowly finding them other deals with other networks according to their needs, Three moved out from giffgaff so far.
Agree with you will be interesting to see what the 3 merger will bring on that front. That is if it is allowed to proceed. As long as it is hybrid using o2 2g.
