@jeremylalou

If you haven't already, please see https://labs.giffgaff.com/idea/16703587/rename-always-on-to-6gb-plus-goodybag (of course it should now say 9GBplus) and give it your support.

Three have an FUP of 1000GB/mo. I don't know if they traffic shape or not but if they do it's not noticeable, I've happily streamed 1080p for hours without issue before.

£20 goodybag is essentially "night time unlimited"... well, it would be if giffgaff didn't take the proverbial with their "surprise! you getting banned!" policy.

Perhaps, advertising it as "off-peak unlimited" and getting rid of the vague policy that gets users ban for "bad" usage patterns, would help to avoid the confusion as many think that Always On = Unlimited until they learn the hard way.

Indeed, Will himself said that people can "go nuts" between 00:01 and 07:59 and that giffgaff don't care how much people use at that time.

I don't think you'd have to worry about being flagged if you did, Will isn't the kinda guy to say something like that unless it's true.

@hadenbills97

how would ALL giffgaff users benefit from this??????

the whole point of having speed restrictions was to ensure that small number of people didn't abuse the data service to the determinant of the rest. can't see how making £20 truly unlimited will makes it better for everyone?

If my answer resolved your query then please mark it as a ' solution '. Thank you!

Not really going to make everyone happy, it would make a small percentage happy I am sure - the majority would rather have a quality faster service for the smaller amounts they do use
