Gg based it on the calls text and data you use

No, really???

So a £5 goodybag will save me money when I only spent 80p in a month.

@jaycat

Yeah, spotted that after I'd posted. I've asked for this topic to be merged into that one.

Just wondering if anyone got a recommended Plan as 'Pay As You go'

Perhaps because PAYG is technically 'Not a Plan' thats why the £5 goodybag is being shown as the best 'Plan'

I think it a likely sales technique to try and get PAYG users onto a monthly goodybag.

I have done in the past, the last time was in April.

I generally find these emails quite amusing though I wonder if there's a pattern emerging?

I never have a Goodybag but if I make a little use of giffgaff (calls, texts or data) in a month I get the PAYG recommendation. On the other hand, if I make no use of giffgaff, I get the Goodybag recommendation.

Did someone say that the algorithm needs a tweak?

@j_mie

Just looked back at my previous 'Best Plans' (not easy as they were hidden amongst the hundreds of others from giffgaff)  Smiley Frustrated

and Yes I also found a couple of recommened 'PAYG' plans.

It's just the one for this month (July 2016 - £5 Goodybag Recommendation) that's wrong for me.
