Is giffgaff's reactive moderation policy damaging to the community?

Sorry, it's not my intention to drag it off topic, just to explain why I think we should be holding off further changes until after the platform move and we see what we as users have at our disposal to manage interactions.

Proactivity, on the part of the moderators, isn't software-dependent.

 

It's policy which is the problem, not the platform.

If this can be taken 2 ways, and 1 offends, I probably meant the other way. Smiley Wink

Agreed on the first part, but user behaviour can change dependent on the platform and the tools which are given to them.

I've only had positive experiences with the moderation team so far, especially after being attacked for no apparent reason by some pillock.

My only bugbear is said pillock is still allowed to post. I'd have banned him quick smart for what he did.

Well they certainly are active as I found out this week , 

nothing bad just positive ,

i notice we have one from giffgaff who is on threads on help as well that’s new to my time on here 

Can’t be bad to know someone is monitoring the threads
