Lost or Stolen Sim? Make it easier to Report.

Not entirely sure why this link is hidden away and is so difficult to find, especially in mobile view!

Losing your sim or phone is one of the worst experiences that can occur,  if it happens to you, its not that easy to quickly find the exact link to report it. The responsibility is to get members to the link asap. Let's do it.

 

Time is of the essence and you need to get your sim blocked to prevent unauthorised use.

 

Panicking wont help but what to do? 

 

Let's have a stickied post/thread that gives the link.

I think its easy to find. All you have to do is click on help on the top of your home page and lost and stolen option is thereunder your phone

I didn't find it at all difficult to find when I left my spare 'phone on a train in Germany last year; the first time I've done such a stupid thing I might add.

Within a couple of minutes of realising what I'd done I'd reported and blocked it.

I don't recall having any difficulty at all in finding out how to do it and that was on another mobile.

newbies would maybe have a problem but all they would do is start a thread in help and support and get a quick reply.

My OP did say in 'mobile view' not desktop view.

 

Although help is visible in mobile view the menu does not have lost or stolen sim available.

 

That is my point.

That would be an alternative option @allan1954 but the fact is that would take time to do.

 

All members want and need is a quick and visable link in whichever online mode they are using, to report their lost or stolen sim or phone.

@allan1954 It would take 5 minutes  for giffgaff to change the settings whereas for newbies it is difficult to find the link.
