I started the following thread in the 'Help And Support' forum a couple of months ago.

https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Help-Support/Monthly-Usage-Statement-emails/m-p/22643133#M8436641

It ultimately transpired that these emails have been made 'compulsory to receive' by Giffgaff and I am not very happy about it. What most surprised me was that the E.U. GDPR took effect on 25th May 2018 and these annoying emails also started to surface right around then. For the record, I am not formally arguing that these emails contravene the GDPR, just that it seemed an odd time to start pushing them. Anyhow, someone on my thread recommended I start a new thread in this forum on the matter, so that maybe something might be done about it. I have now done so and I hope that I will soon be allowd to opt out of receiving them Thank you.

I also tried telling myself 'Oh, it's only one email a month we are talking about'. However, I still feel that the option should be there for Giffgaff customers to decide whether they want to receive them or not. It's hardly complicated to arrange and 'Each to their own' as the saying goes. ;-)

@spillihp34 just had a look in my personal profile and now there is a tick box to turn off email. Email Settings

and a tick box then save.

Unfortunately, it seems that it is still mandatory to specifically receive Monthly Usage Statement emails.
