I think it is also important To remember that we can only inform our friends of the deals on the table.the minute we start pressurizing them and pushing for them to join the minute they think we are only get them to join for our benefit, and not for their own.In my opinion the giffgaff deals certainly stand up to any and all scrutiny and if x y or z cannot see that then they are probably never likely to no matter how much you try to convince them so enjoy your own deal and move onto someone that does understand a bargain when they see one

Seems like the competition is really hotting up. T-mobile offering 600mins 500texts, 3GB data + Unlimited Landline (or any other booster of choice) all for £7.50 on a 12 month contract. This has got to be the deal of the century for medium users. I think the deal expires tomorrow. Here's the Hotukdeals link:

Come on now it is pretty clear who giffgaff are going after with the 30 pound goodybag I know this for a fact because I helped bring it to life. @ Paul nice one I mean why do people talk when they don't know?

That T-mobile deal is a beast! I would but I already have a contract with the big T. It's flex 35 with web and walk so 900 minutes plus 10000 off peak minutes. Evening and Weekends. (19.00 to 00.00) Monday to Thursday. Fridays from 19.00 to midnight Monday morning.

@jamesey There is no such thing as a free lunch don't be fooled, as free data is a loss leader. Which is why it is ending for non goodybag users.

Noticed that sometimes when you click on a thread it goes to the wrong thread on Opera mini. It's a problem with Opera mini.

I think the giffgaff deal is fine as it is, if caps are introduced then they will need to look at it again.

They are unlikely to tempt people away from contracts as most contracted users are there for the phone they get

There is no other PAYG service that offers uncapped data usage, and as smart phones are becoming more and more popular, then the service is very attractive.

Though as smart phones become more and more popular, and more and more people discover just how basic Mobile Internet is, more and more of those new users will stop using it.

Giffgaff has some advantages over other operators but you carnt expect everything from one operator, by offering us a uped offer will mean they gain less profit meaning they not be able to keep up with operating cost
