Good luck with your new provider @djecho but the grass is not always greener on the other side.

If you are looking about then THREE network seem to have some good deals, although their coverage is not great around the UK, so check first.  Downside with many other networks that are not PAYG, you need to pass a credit check and often to get best deals, need to lock into a contract for 12 months (for sim only deals)

Vodafone also have some good deals but their coverage seems to be worse than THREE from what some of my friends say.

Remember, try quidco (if you are a member) - you may get upto £65 off some 12 month sim only deals)

I think the prices are great for the service provided and the added bonus that you’re not tied into a contract or have lengthy calls to a customer service line for assistance. There is 24/7 support from the giffgaff community.

Price increases are a necessity in the business world 🌍 and some may say the notion for a customer to continue getting a reduced price would be considered greed. Good customers notice the improvements and additional services and packages that are being offered and understand that inevitably the price may increase.

If you are unhappy you are completely within your own right to move on to another provider.

I wish you all the success in your search for better.

Think like this I put £20 month on my phone every month for the last 2 years so what's the difference in paying a contract I have good credit so that's not a problem...I get a brand new phone for that £20 month also 😃

@djecho there has been a number of posts more or less saying exactly the same thing. I haven't been using giffgaff ss long but already there are some things which have me questioning how far the caring sharing goes? Probably until it conflicts with profitability like all big business.
For me over the last few months the data transfer speeds have been so poor I doubt I would have enough time in a month to use a £25 goodybags quota of data.
Please come back to tell who you choose to go with and what things are like. Good Hunting
