Yup loads of times this has been suggested. Probably one of the most popular. Giffgaff don’t seem interested though
Have a look in labs. One is this https://labs.giffgaff.com/idea/12953402/make-the-minimum-top-up-£5
Doubt very much they could even if they wanted to, it's an O2 thing isn't it the
£20 £10 minimum topup. I do agree though £10 is too much it should be £5. I can topup my Three Rewards PAYG SIM £2 using my debit card.
Edit: That's strange not sure where the £20 topup came from instead of £10 either a typo or my browser went funny and stuck the 2 from the £2 Three topup I mentioned where the 1 was supposed to be.
Yes mate but giffgaff feel its not for them due to the costs
Has this ever been suggested? I think it would be popular choice for a lot of members.
Popularity does not always equate to sound business sense or management.
After you remove vat and banking charges a £5 top up leaves giffgaff with around £4 to profiteer from. The £5 airtime could sit there for years apart from a six monthly text to keep the sim active.
Luckily, giffgaff do allow the £5 purchase of a goodybag that expires after a month.
