I think you should revise the misleading bit about £5 free credit to £5 bonus with your first £10 activation.

Worded properly, its a good and worthwhile bonus that can encourage the right sort of user. But the way it currently reads, it only encourages timewasters who will immediately throw the sim away when they receive it and realise that the free sim doesn't actually give them £5 free credit.

Thanks all.  I may do a couple more with different themes if I get the time.

@harrrrrry

The 1st and 3rd posters do state that you have to top up at least £10 to receive the free fiver.  I missed it on the 2nd one, so that's now been updated.

Thanks Smiley Wink

harrrrrry may have been referring to the middle paragraph in the right-hand section of each poster, which also contains the misleading statement (in all 3 posters).

@gordie10

I don't think that bit's misleading.  It does clearly say "when they join us".  Even giffgaff themselves put similar wording (check my banner for an example).

I don't think there's many people who would assume they just get £5 for nothing, but I'll add another line in at the end just to be safe, when I get time Smiley Happy

You will be surprised at what people expect for nothing! If you don't spell it out explicitly then they can and will misinterpret the offer. Smiley Wink

Hi again,

Okay, all 3 posters have now been updated to say the £5 added on £10 top up bit.

Enjoy Smiley Wink
