Is our SIM packaging design being mistaken for spam mail?
@prescilla_g and the giffgaff SIM packaging design team have been having a look at how our SIMs get delivered. More specifically, thinking about why some SIMs never make it to our expectant members. So, Pres has a couple of questions for the members. If you pop over here and give giffgaff some feedback, that would be wonderful.

Text Breach - A Reminder
Early this morning it was reported that a large datacentre holding millions of text exchanges from people all across the world. It allowed hackers to easily view real-time conversations and extract personal data from every user. Luckily the breach was detected quickly and secured. However, we should all take this as a reminder that our data is always vulnerable to attack, and we need to take steps to secure it.
Personally, I recommend securing everything. Whilst this breach only affected text chains, every little aspect of your online life is vulnerable. Start with your email accounts, and accounts on websites, as they hold banking information, work info, usernames and passwords etc. Most providers will offer some form of 2FA, or 2-factor authentication. 2FA uses something like an app on your phone, or even your phone number (for texts and calls).
Apps like Authy offer 2FA for all your major accounts such as GMail, Slack, Dropbox, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter. You simply download their app, connect all your accounts, and now whenever you log in from a new device or browser, you will be asked to enter a code generated on their app (It resets every few seconds). Other individual accountholders offer integrated services, Google's GMail has a feature where you can receive texts and/or calls with codes when you log in. Find this under your account settings.
Maybe now's the time to do a security checkup on all your devices and accounts, if you need any help or have any questions feel free to PM me!
