Billing issue - here’s how giffgaff are giving refunds
giffgaff are in the process of refunding a group of members who have been affected by a billing issue we had with our system. This issue is now fixed and we’re currently working to make sure every active member wrongly charged gets their money back. We’re also getting in touch with members who are not currently with us to refund them as well. Following our investigation into this issue, we know that 90% of the affected members will be refunded £5 or less. To take you all through what's happened and what giffgaff are doing about it, head over here.

Over the last week, Apple has revealed stats about the usage of its app store and the usage of apps on its mobile devices. Here's a quick overview of the stats that Apple has released.
The App store has been around for about 10 years now (its official birthday is on 10 July), over which time it has gathered a jaw-dropping 2 million apps in total, give or take a few apps that may have been taken off the store. Apple, however, still remains in the shadow of Android's Google Play Store, which plays host to almost 4 Million apps. This is most likely to be because of Google's more open development platform and release process through the play store.
The most downloaded apps of all time (excluding games) are as follows: 1. Facebook; 2. Facebook Messenger; 3. YouTube; 4. Instagram; 5. WhatsApp.
The app with the most usage, however, remains as Netflix (It's pretty obvious why).
The most downloaded games of all time are: 1. Candy Crush Saga; 2. Subway Surfers; 3. Fruit Ninja; 4. Clash Of Clans; 5. Honour of Kings. In total since the 2010, there has been close to 200 Billion downloads and $130 Billion in spending on apps.
In the UK, the #1 top paid app of all time has almost always been a driving theory test app.
