Customers can now build their own plan. Many networks abroad were already doing this for ages. I, for, one would like to see something similar on giffgaff.

Yes,if you're prepared to take a Refresh contract for both a phone and airtime you can now customise your airtime package.

Given that the phone contract is for 2 years though and the airtime contract for up to 3 years,this offer is in no way comparable to giffgaff with their core ethos of "we don't do contracts".

@persco @davidevans0000 @woodyuk

Yes, it's a contract with a phone, I'm obv aware of that.

What I meant was the concept of "build your own tariff" as such.

@glaswegianeric can't ever see this happen on giffgaff as there would be such a lot of different plans members would want giffgaff wouldn't be able to cope.

@davidevans0000 well, more combinations, yes, but still a finite number.

Most networks probably have to manage a loooot more tariffs than a number of combinations that the build-your-tariff approach would create - current offer tariffs, partner tariffs, discontinued tariffs, etc. etc....

I wouldn't want a custom plan just happy with what giffgaff has to offer at present.

@glaswegianeric
Good Morning
In the 5 years I have been with giffgaff I have seen the idea of Custom goodybag's raised by members on numerous posts with no response from giffgaff.
The administration and pricing of each individual goodybag would be a nightmare for giffgaff.
Personally I am quite happy with the present goodybags range.

As nice as the idea seems i think it would be a logistically and financial nightmare for giffgaff

The goodybags they have now are good.
