has the always on goodybag had its day?

It seems that a lot of people get confused about how it works, the amount of complaints on the forum about it seems to point to it not being fit for service!

The throttled back service after the 6gb is just about useless.

Any thoughts??

@eddievortex

Couldn't agree more.

Time for a £25 12GB bag to replace it and avoid the throttling and warnings.

I say that not as a user of the £20 bag but based on the sheer number of help requests from thjose confused by the offfer.

Either drop it or make its limitations FAR clearer.

the internet is for complaining remember...people get confused because they don't read about what they're buying before they buy it, then get angry for not reading about what they bought after the event...

the throttling back after 6GB is nominal, ok for instant messaging and basic browsing, which is better than no internet connection at all.

it serves a purpose for those who want piece of mind that at least they'll have some internet after 6GB.

on the flip side, you won't necessarily see people who are satisfied with their product post online about it....

@eddievortex ...we wouldn't have any of these issues if people didn't buy without reading the t&c's ...then blaming giffgaff when it's not what " they think/thought" it should be ...the rest of us do fine with it why penalise us for their mistake ?.

Unfair ?.

True, if we stopped everything that people don't understand the easy to follow instructions for there'd be no giffgaff(s)

giffgaff like 3 only have a 12% spectrum data allocation so this will never happen.
