Hi, all giffgaffer

Are you interested on unlimited UK minutes?

We might set up an goodbay offering unlimited minutes with 30+ pound per month

I think this will also popular if someone actually need it.

It's possible to offer unlimited landline calls for a fixed rate and remain profitable but not mobile calls.

There used to be a £30 goodybag with unlimited UK minutes, internet and SMS. Was discontinued because the amount that people were calling was costing the company way more than the bag was worth

There was an unlimited everything goodybag but giffgaff withdrew it due to it being abused and not very popular.

No but we could do with a talk only goodybag for those of us that rarely send texts and don't need unlimited Internet. I don't see why we should be subsidising the users of unlimited Internet and texts paying for something we don't use/want.

i hardly think you can claim to be subsidising anything. lets think about the £10 bag for a moment;

250 mins = 4p per min (er thats half price even before the rates increase)

& unlimited txts saving unlimited 4ps (say just  4 a day =126 a month saving you over £5)

Hardly worth complaining about is it?

You don't subsidise anyone. You came onto a network which advertised what it had and then became dissatisfied with the offerings. For some reason you blame that on those that use the service that was on offer.

It's possible that payback is covering your monthly costs if you are a minimal user.  If not then maybe there is justification for looking around for a better deal, should you feel the need.

Yes,

But giffgaff might carry out a new goodbag which provided unlimited landline and unlimited text but 500MB Internet.

This can charge 35 pounds per month.

OR

just providing unlimited landline, limited mobile calls eg. 250minutes or plus and 500MB Internet.
