Ok so I have an idea that I am interested in pitching in labs I will get right to the point.

(Example) ::John buys £18.00 (9gb) goodybag but only uses 5gb GiffGaff will buy it off him for 400 reward points=£4.00 / this offer can apply to all goodybags excluding (always on data)

Summary :: 1gb = 100 = £1.00 payback for any unused data.

As the reward points system is in place this should be very easy for giffgaff to implement.

If you agree n like this idea could you please like the topic so I have an understanding of the ideas popularity in the cummunity. Thanks for all your support.

@starkey93 sorry i cant support this as to much work to set up and giffgaff has to make some money.

How much work would really be needed as giffgaff have the reward system in place all ready?, And giffgaff would still be making money as alot of people do use most of their data or have always on. (This would be a good alternative as giffgaff currently do not roll over data so all is lost at the end of each month) @davidevans0000 thanks for your comment David and I hope you understand where I am coming from. Appreciated Starkey93

@starkey93

No I don’t like that , all you would do is push prices up ,

how do you square your idea with always on goodybag there is no fixed amount so that discriminated against those who buy they can’t sell it back ,

@giffgaff20147 no need to square it whit people on always on I to use always on and you have unlimited data there is no limit so you wouldn't be able to be included in this idea this would simply be and alternative to rolling over data. If ur on always on it is impossible to roll over always on lol. You just simply have internet 24/7 this idea is for goodybags with certain amounts of data included with the bundle. Hope you see where I am coming from appreciated your comment thanks Smiley Happy

Interesting idea but not practical in my view.
People will soon be demanding the same applies to unused minutes and texts and giffgaff profits will be lost.

This is already being done in a slightly different way by Three's new MVNO that launched this year called Smarty.

Any unused data from your monthly PAYG plan (their version of goodybags) is discounted from your next plan at £1.25 per GB.

@alecalexandrou
Data is worth more then minutes and texts though? It's why networks always give loads of that lol just not enough data aha if managed the right way this could be an excellent idea and very easy to implement Smiley Happy appreciate your comment Smiley Happy

@starkey93

That’s why I bought the always on goodybag up ,

if they can’t get anything back then it is discrimination against them ,

giffgaff is a payg network all are treated the same or it does not happen ,

i don’t use always on just putting a point forward

i welcome your idea but no vote from me ,
