Monster Lobsters, funny dogs, and the cast of Up star in 'Star Wars' in today's 5 a day!

Zobia found this awesome gallery of 'potraits of dogs as they shake off water'. The one below is my favourite! You can find the rest of the adorable pics here (and I'm not a dog person normally): http://www.petapixel.com/2011/07/28/portraits-of-dogs-as-they-shake-off-water/

Up’s little old couple have created the most adorable Star Wars mashup we’ve ever seen. James Hance, the artist who brought us the adorable Wookie the Chew is back with yet another crushingly adorable Star Wars mash-up. Behold the Up couple dressed as Han and Leia, so cute our tiny hearts have grown three times just upon viewing this image.

This stunning photo is eyjafjallajökull, a volcano eruption.

The biggest lobster ever caught in Maine, a 27-pounder nicknamed "Rocky" with claws tough enough to snap a man's arm, was released on Thursday after being trapped in a shrimp net last week, marine officials said.

So which one was your favourite? Personally mine was number 3! So beautiful and detailed.

Til tomorrow!

Hazel.

I really like number 3 but I really like number 2. I have such a soft spot for Up, I blubbed my eyes out when I watched it Smiley Very Happy

@Emilina - one quote I read this week, "Pixar created more emotion and realistic characters in 10 minutes than Twilight did in 4 films."

As an amateur photographer I really love the photograph of the erupting volcano. However, although I have seen it before, my favourite has to be the little chimp with the AK-47 (?).

I couldn't agree more. I love disney pixar films. There's always somethings in them to make them appeal to adults as well.

Nice to see even massive lobsters still wear the rubber bands.

The way the dogs heads are contorted it's surprising they don't shake their brain about too much doing that.
