Andy Murray's retiring!

It may sound harsh but as everyone gets older you find you can't do the things you used to. But as he will never have to worry about earning a crust I really can't feel too sorry for him having to retire. When you see people affected by accidents or illness that mean they have to struggle both physically and financially for the rest of their lives, I think he should be grateful for the rewards he has gained from playing tennis.

He really is being a big girl's blouse about this.  He has earned millions and can always turn to coaching to keep his hand in.  No sympathy from me either.

He should stop playing now.

There was talk of his having the hip 're-surfaced', but it seems not to be solution in allowing Murray to continue playing.

Sadly this happens to many sportsmen of this age and has to be accepted. He must stay positive in the knowledge he was the world's number one.
