Imagine that @eileenusher. Sitting down to Sunday lunch and someone actually wanting to discuss the blooming thing. That’d be enough to skip the pint and go straight for the spirits.

Well thumbed @andath? My betting is they ve been used to mop up spillages and balance out the wonky tables. Surely people don’t want to read about Brexit over a pint of Old Thumper and some scampi and chips?

@andyslc I think they'd get my knife or fork shoved somewhere if they tried, or in the very least told not so politely where to go😂

No,  the pub should be a haven where people can talk nonsense over their chosen tipple.  For or against it isn't for me.
