Well some may know, I enjoy a good Brexit debate as much as the next man, but I think this is a bit far.

Today I met with an old friend, at it involved a train journey and a new town, so we had some drinks and a meal in a town centre public house, that is chain owned

On each table was the following  (see photos)

Surely some places should be off limits, where people can just shut off from Brexit-mania

Guilty of thought crimes - If there is hope, it lies in the proles.

I agree @snenklehen that’s just too much, I know the boss of the chain is a key supporter of one side but that’s just going too far imo. It’s bad enough the papers are full of it and nothing else. A pub is supposed to be a relaxing place and that usually means politics is not on the list of conversations. If it was the other side of the argument it’d be no better.

Neither do drunk politicians @nefarius. I wonder how many of the pamphlets were defaced with the addition of crazy moustaches and wacky spectacles in blue bic biro?

I'd simply walk out, find another pub to eat in, then I would email a complaint to there head office, telling them I won't be using any of there pubs again as I don't want too see that stuff in a pub, and I certainly won't have it stuffed in my face or there owners opinions pushed onto me, everyone should boycott their pubs in protest, they should not bring it too a barwhere people just want to eat and drink, and forget the outside world for a bit.

They look well thumbed those leaflets. Someone is obviously reading them. Maybe it's a case of giving the customer what s/he wants?

Hi @snenklehen

That's nothing you should of been around going to school in 1975 people trying to put leaflets in your hand in school grounds.

You then leave school and they're at the train station.
