What's your opinion on boys playing with dolls, or girls playing with toy cars?

i think its perfectly fine, as long as they are happy playing with the toys. I never agreed with dolls for girls or toy cars for boys. That's just me.

Boys, girls and adults should all be encouraged to play with whatever they enjoy - there are no rules and we shouldn't ever try to apply any.

I don't see there being a problem with boys playing with dolls.

I played on motorbikes when I was growing up and dolls,

I've turned out ok. 🤗

It's people who have the problem with it.

Too much stereotyping, everything has to have a 'label'.

Let it be. Life's to short.

Of course they can.

What I object to though is this word PERSON

Just say handy woman or handy man.

Both genders can do each others work but we are still man and women and that should be celebrated.

We're not robots.

What sayest thou?

I think kids will play with whatever they want to and if they have a good imagination what you see, eg an airoplane, might actually be a gun. And the gun might be a spaceship.

And that doll is actually a robot, or even a soldier.

Even without toys, kids with good imaginations will use sticks, stones and furniture as whatever toy they want at the moment.

Anybody getting upset about a toy not being gender appropriate is the one with a problem
