Had this carpet fitted in the lounge and two bottom stairs around three months ago. After the first couple of weeks noticed some kind of wear, or colour change, but thought it was because it was new and just settling. Nothing improved, so we contacted the store, and show them photos. The carpet looks pretty rubbish, and looks as though its had a herd of sheep run over it. The area manager rang today and said its normal wear and rear. Mmmm after 90 days it looks like this, I dont think so, it has a 10year warranty. My question is would you think this is normal after 90 days, or do you think its rubbish .
If it looks that bad on a photograph it must be terrible on site (much worse)
The manager would not pass judgement on a photograph if he was on top of the job.
It could be dirt trodden in from what looks like the kitchen or it could be pile reversal causing a shaded look.
Only a physical inspection could tell.
We dont wear shoes in the lounge, or n the kitchen,we have clogs near the back door to go out. Tje kotchen flooring is newly laid as well. No animals or young children, very dissapointed as this was reccomeded by the sales person for the requirement we needed.
The picture just shows a small area it actially goes along the carpet for a good few feet.
