"we not all designed to be skinny are we!"
I'll go with that thank you
I'm glad I had a bit of spare to draw on this last month with being ill.
When they say putting load on bones increases bone density it's got to be better to have some weight and seen too many skinny people with osteoporosis or even coming down with cancer..is there a connection?
Depends if the weight is from eating too much rubbish or good quality food?
I shy away from sugar so that's a good thing, white mans poison.
But if eat lots of low fat things is it good, I think vits a and d help you absorb calcium, no expert tho.
Food is one of lifes pleasures and I used to diet and be careful as a teenager but it wasn't healthy. You end up obsessed with not eating instead of enjoying and celebrating food and then having the energy to enjoy life.
I think with women in particular they store hormones in fat so it acts as buffer with menopause, nother good excuse.
Prob have a heart attack next week after spouting that lot lol! That'll teach me lol!
"white mans poison"
ha!!!!!!!!! sure is
well I got forced to have 3 sugars in tea and coffee when a kid, parents didn't know any better and hence some of the tooth problems now.
hubs still has some but I find even milk has its own sweetness
the rare times I bake I use coconut palm sugar, is delicious and has trace elements
date syrup also lovely and sweet, probably has natural good stuff in it.
if we do a creme brulee i leave the little sachet of sugar, who wants to eat burnt stuff? love the egginess of the creme without it
