With the first day of February today, I'm wondering

Do you celebrate valentine's Day?

Why/why not? 🤔

Today as I look out my widow I see snow on the 1st February2019.
And I think what has happened to global warming.
Some kids today will celebrate sledge day today, come to think of it and some parents on the pretence that they are only on the slope for the sake of the kids
Will too.
Do I celebrate Valentines day?
It depends what comes through the letterbox.

No we don’t @alicia_humphrey and just because we are older that isn’t the reason. We never have, even as a teenager I thought the hype was ridiculous. In work, the bouquets arriving just got bigger and bigger and it was like a competition to see who got the biggest. Our marriage is still strong after all these years without all that. If you love someone, it is every day. But that doesn’t mean I am against others enjoying it, whatever gives them pleasure. And I am particularly enjoying the valentines thread already going strong, seeing all the lovely goodies, enjoy 🤗

Doesn't it require a man, woman or gender fluid to be in union with someone else to celebrate Valentines Day?

No. Why keep the expression to one day a year?

Never it's a contrived 'hallmark' holiday these days designed to part the gullible from their money. If you love someone  show them everyday not when  you are told to.. Smiley Happyn
