Ebay help

Nothing goes smoothly on Ebay!

Please can any ebayers help me? I have sold an item, then the buyer states that he doesn't want it, I've clicked 'cancel order' on ebay and it says 'order cancelled, we'll let you know when the refund is processed'

It was only yesterday, but do I need to do anything else? Do I refund manually through PayPal  or just leave it to do its thing?

Paypal will deal with the refund direct with the buyer.

Hi @sooze86 it should be automatic after you have cancelled the order but for peace of mind I would check your PayPal account daily to verify that the refund has gone out.

leave it you've done what you had to do. just check paypal to see the payment has gone out. or if you want you can contact eBay via live chat and they can confirm it for you. Selling on eBay can be a nightmare.

That's my issue, it's not registered on PayPal as far as I can see, but I don't want to process it twice!
