Hey @jason1973tess

Depends on what you're looking for. For me, Amazon has amazing bargains.

You could build a PC yourself if you are able to invest the time and the money, but if you don't want to, be sure to get a computer that you'll be able to expand and upgrade, eg,

  • Extra RAM slots
  • Make sure you will be able to change the CPU
  • Make sure you will be able to change the GPU/Graphics Card

What games are you looking to play as I'm a PC (well, laptop) gamer myself Smiley Happy

@madscouser69 is the person to talk to about this haha

No such thing, a good graphics card would take up half of that, the processor the other half, leaving no money for a case mobo or ram.

You could get away without the operating system, and you may already have a mouse/keyboard and monitor.

It's possible to get a PC for that money, but it won't be a gaming PC.

Sorry for the late show guys. As @kenralph said I’m afraid you won’t be able to pick up a gaming pc for that budget. You may be able to pick one up pre owned but you will be taking a risk.

What type of games are you looking to play? And are you bothered about running them at the highest levels?

Have you considered building your own. It sounds daunting but it really is like adult lego

have a look on this link. Even the budget build they have got comes in over your budget but you will get more bang for your buck than buying a prebuilt one

Depends your at the bottom end of PC gaming budgets unless you either go 2nd hand or build it yourself. If you do 2nd hand then your probably going to buy a new GPU/graphics card anyway as most people selling GPUs have abused them so much there probably going to fail but the rest of the components are fine 2nd hand just make sure there all matched
