Don’t be scared @pinkprincess116 it is your entitlement to be paid for the work you have done. Didn’t you say you were going to get paid today? If you don’t then you need to ask him why not. If necessart ring ACAS, but hopefully, you won’t have to.

Maybe start looking for another job? You need security.

Is this your first pay packet with the job? If so, pretend you don't know and ask when it is. When they tell you then you can tell them it hasn't gone in.

You should never be scared to ask for wages you are due.

However it is rare to be paid at weekend? Most pay dates that fall at weekend would usually be paid the last working day beforehand ie. Friday.

Simply ask when is my payday? And then advise you haven’t received yours.

Is it a large organisation? As it’s really not acceptable to not pay staff.

Is there an HR department? If so go and see them, that's their job.

Its illegal to withhold pay, they need to out it in your bank straight away. Dont be scared its your entitlement, and unless they know you ate in dire straights they will presume all is okay. Good luck

No need to be scared @pinkprincess116

The fact you’re aware that you haven’t been paid shows that you are organised and are good with money.

Most employers like staff who are able to take initiative and communicate well. The sooner you bring any problems to their attention the easier they are to sort out.
