Ages ago, someone posted a link to sign up for have I been pwnd, and I did. This morning, I got an e mail to say I had been along with hundreds of thousands of others in January 2019, but as they cannot tell is which password has been compromised, what do I do now? I only use my ipad and I thought they were pretty secure?

@frenchielove Are you sure? haveibeenpwnd.com doesn’t have a sign up does it? I thought it was a on the fly check you make by visiting their website and entering the email address you wanted to check. Does this email ask for any additional info? Links in the email? Sounds a bit phishy to me but then what if?

We need a techie who can help a bit more.

I'd change your email / set up a new one, and transfer your contacts over to the new one.. Use a new password too..

Delete your old email address completely.

.. and don't open any links in an email that you're not sure about..

@frenchielove

What sayest thou?

@frenchielove you didn't accidently click on the subscribe to search sensitive breaches link on that website did you? If so then you would get emails from them informing you of further breaches.
