What proportion of your shopping, be that food ,clothes or any other regular purchases,do you do in-store?
I do the minority of mine probably about 80% in an actual store.
I work in a "well known" multi retail store, the increase in online ordering is huge and increasing weekly.
The customer can order from the comfort of their home and have it delivered to store for FREE and return for free.
I do see the attraction but I can see why the high street and even out of town stores are going bust.
I worry that shops will be a thing of the past if something doesn't change in order to attract the shopper back in stores and away from the computer.
Will be very interested to hear everyone else's stance on this.
I tend to most of my shopping in store for basics but if i want non food items i tend to shop online and have it delivered.
Its so easy to click and its delivered next day .
Over Christmas i bought a few gifts from amazon as it was so easy and it was with me the next day, also i got the choice to have the items delivered to local shops for when i was a work.
I suppose its a catch 22 we all want quick delivery and cheap prices but we want to keep shops and peoples jobs
