Another who does not believe in democracy. 17.4 million people voted out the will of the people. I did not like the result of the last election we were not aloud a second.

The media in this country have a vested interest in keeping us in this corrupt club.

Yes I voted out and if a second undemocratic referendum is called because the remoaners don't like the result I will vote the same way.

Erm...we had a general election in 2015, I didn’t like that result and had another chance in 2017 and will again in 2022 and again in....

Chalk and cheese bud, how many of these general elections did we have another vote before the winner of the (then) current vote was enacted? None...

Plus the last brexit type vote was in 1975, then 2016, so 41 years (not 45 as was otherwise mentioned), but still that would enable a third vote by 2057, so not too long to wait......

@acetech The point is clear. Democracy doesn’t stop at one vote - unless the people vote for a totalitarian state. Campaigning doesn’t stop, opposition doesn’t stop. Opposition is a key safeguard in our democracy to put the brakes on governments doing whatever the heck they like. We now abandon that principle because people don’t like hearing that things may not have been as they were described or people were led to believe? (Trying to keep this as neutral as possible here as we have already established here was BS on both sides and is clear that TMs deal is a bad deal be it Leave or remain supporter).

I dunno @andyslc to me May's agreement isn't the worst thing that could happen. A lot of the Brexit supporting media are actually encouraging their readers to petition their members of Parliament to support it, the Daily Mail certainly is, lol
