What do you think?

Should schools start an hour later?

That would be one hour and 15 minutes later at my sons school ,I think kids would probably rather come home earlier than start later.

Personally I would prefer it to stay the same.

I would be at work before they go so can't make sure they go or be able to take them etc

When I was an adolescent I was up at 4am every day, (except every third weekend when I often passed out and missed Sunday completely), after going to sleep at 2am.

This generation....

I start work at 06:45, at that time I'm already face deep in engineering drawings, CAD models and gearing up for a day full of meetings...

I'm sorry but if they can't get themselves together then the real world is going to eat them alive...

The sheer ignorance of anyone who thinks that is staggering…

Adults need to get themselves and their kids up, make breakfast, lunches and ensure that everyone gets to school and work. They do a full day of work and go home via picking the kids up (and occasionally the supermarket) to start making the next round of meals. They do the washing, ironing, vacuuming etc… before putting the kids to bed and having a couple of hours to themselves before the whole thing starts again...

Their arrogance is only trumped by how ill-equipped they’re going to be to deal with life and I’m mortified about the future if it looks like this.

They are barely at school now ! They will not cope in the real world.

Although the the could argue with all the homework they get, then additional revision for exams, they can't physically go to bed earlier? 🤔
