@frenchielove Nice choice ( Proud Mary ) tho I'd have got bored waiting for her to actually start to sing the flippin' song Smiley Wink

But it did queue this one next, all time anthem song Smiley Happy

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird - https://youtu.be/QxIWDmmqZzY worth typing just to mess with the spell checker Smiley Wink and at just under 12 mins long still way short of that seagulls song Smiley Happy Smiley Happy ( @dolly247 ) Smiley Happy

@kayden16 Bohemian Rhapsody, another absolute classic song, I was given the sheet / guitar music for it ages ago but when I sat down to run through it I realised why it was given away, there's a page missing in the middle Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

Can't do Freebird without also throwing in Hotel California - The Eagles - https://youtu.be/BR71t7kLP9M

Another band where there's so many of them on stage you lose count Smiley Wink the guitar tab to this song lists more than 7 different parts throughout Smiley Surprised I used to do an acoustic version with just one 6 string guitar, let's just say it sounded "different" Smiley Wink

A Great big super musical hello to our new giffgaff Music Fans Thread.

The whole idea around this thread is for fellow giffgaffers to share their favourite songs with other gaffers and whether it be  pop, rock, classic garage related it will all be  shared in one place.

The Previous Music Thread was ran by clinteastwood43 for a very long time so a very big thanks to him for all his hard work over the years.

@_kara_ Approached me just last week and has been helping me with trying to set up the new thread.  Can we just ask the following of you music fans though:

  1. Wherever possible please try to keep everything in one post
  2. Please try to limit @mentions to members who have replied to your post. Single mentions are personal while mentioning a group can feel exclusionary. Please note that you will receive a notification of each post if you subscribe to the thread. Simply click or press on the 3 dots at the top right of the page & select "subscribe".
  3. If possible please post small pictures only as this will assist members to view the posts on this thread without having to scroll loads on a mobile device.

We are hoping that we can all adhere to these thread guidelines to keep our thread inclusive for all & open for a long time to come. and share our love of great music.

Just to kick off this thread this is one of my personal favourites

Beatles Revolution.jpeg

Been to mindfulness today and chappie leading it was into buddhism... so this maybe appropriate, got it in head anyhow

https://youtu.be/-db1yvodcbk

it was the penultimate line 'be honest with yourself' that struck the chord!

Haven't clicked on yours yet but if is revolution then fantastic!  What a great track that isSmiley Happy Wild!

And very clever - an attention-seeking start with that riff, then a slow intro to emphasize and stress the message, it's almost an anticlimax as far as pace goes and then I think it picks up later.

Tragic that he got assassinated, he could of done and changed so much I think.. bigger than Jesus - possibly on the human level!

magnificent thighs though!Smiley Happy  saw her in one of the mad max films tother nite, the one with the kids and their sweet alternative language...wossisname looking very young, mel gibson that's the one.

(why can't I remember names any more?)

went to mindfulness sesh earlier, chap running it buddhist and very calming, nice group and looking forward to seeing them again, hope it's mutual and I wasn't too stressy.  Not good in crowds cos of the perfume thing, can feel chest getting tight.. there were about 6 of us and it all adds up, is a right pain.  Still got cough from it.

Oo I hate it when people sell stuff and aren't open about defects, at least didn't charge you! Or maybe they didn't realise?

Is it on internet, the missing page?  Or if you contacted printers (if they still going) they might email you the missing bit...or can you improvise?

it was a long one to dance too, no wonder got neck probs now lol!

seagulls always reminds me of..

https://youtu.be/uWwGV0sdOr0

(bad company seagull)

either that or horrendous racket at 4am, 5am, 6am....

was reading some woman was feeding them sardines this way.. I think had rowed with neighbour previously, the council wouldn't step in and bloke came round and punched her 4 times, got fined £100 and some other penalty I think.. cor she had some bruises.

in some ways feeding wildlife does harm though cos more survive and depend on humans, not always a good thing?  they could end up starving later if too many babies survive, tricky.. we taken away so much habitat from them though, can see both sides.

messy, noisy, magnificent creatures
