NHS still using fax machines

why if they still work and are doing good more money wasted scrap the fax machines only 9000 of them

Our library still lets people send faxs.but they dont have scanners or wifi lol

Six years ago when I was in Boots the NHS wouldn't send any details over email, everything was Fax. It's secure.

In fact, faxes are used more than you think, but they have their limitations such a line drops and running out of paper, both of which lead to a breakdown in communication.  In an age of emails and pdfs, this is a really archaic and slow way of exchanging information.
