Hello!

heading back to NY next month with friends. Although I’ve been before - interested to know what you think is a must do while there? 💵✈️😊

First thing, is to have fun!
Everything is dependant on what you and your friends like, finding film locations is one of my favourites, especially if you have a particular favourite film. The bridge in Central Park from Stuart Little would be one of my destinations 😊
Above all, have fun, and stay safe.

@tricia300, I was in New York last August and I am going back again this year.  Have you walked The High line or Brooklyn Bridge, what about taking the FREE Staten Island ferry for a view of The Statue of Liberty.  Did you go to 'Ground zero' or the One World Observatory.  Did you go to Chelsea or Greenwich Village?  Without knowing what you did on your last trip, it's hard to give recommendations but if you did none of the above, you missed out.

It will be cold.

Try the neue galery in the UES.
And the MoMA of course.

It will be very cold.  I am going back in lovely August. MoMA is great, but I would skip The Guggenheim.  The building is more interesting than the exhibits.

Ellis Island was a highlight for me. Loved a walk over Brooklyn Bridge and wandering around Central Park. And big breakfasts in little diners.

The highlight for me was The High line.  As we approached the 'Meatpacking district' end, there is a distant view of the Statue of Liberty.  That as a heartstopping moment for me.

We never walked Brooklyn Bridge because we got there at the end of a blisteringly hot day and I was too tired.  I did go by myself to the south side in Brooklyn and walked down to the waterfront for a glorious view.

Somewhere I'd love to go, and I'd love to see a show on Broadway. but as I often travel alone these days it look really expensive for one traveller.
Have fun and enjoy! @tricia3006
