A little footnote on why @bluemoonbaz has not brought us the 2019 fitgaff
Baz thought maybe it would be good to have another member to do this, as he has been away due to heath issues and so we can keep the thread updated each day, he felt it was a disservice to everyones efforts not to be ready to update on time.and for the jan 1st roll out and so at short notice i accepted and have used some of the original post for continuity and hope baz is back full time asap and i have told him whenever he is ready to take the rein back , iam ready to hand it over
After a hughly successful 2018 fitgaff and with all your awesome support and the members wish for it to continue again, but with some more additions we bring you
RBY Fitgaff 2019 :New Year New You 2
Remember all those New Year resolutions to get fitter and healthier or plans to fit into those summer clothes ?
I will start on monday
Well, if you're like me then you know how quickly these fall from our thoughts as the cold weather or apathy sets in.
So we thought we could have a fitness thread for all the members and of course... there's no better way than doing it together.
So how can you participate in OUR year challenge
Well that's easy.
We want you all to share your: tips, receipes, diet plans and fitness routines with the other members.
Basically, anything that will help us all get fitter and or healthier.
Fitness, isnt all about walking / running .
Do you swim ,cycle ,weight train etc
What about meditation , yoga, callanetics all a part of a healthy mind.
Smoking cessation methods .
Reviews on heath related products ie fitness watches and training equipment
Share and use each others advise to reach our goal this year.
Together we can achieve
You can use the thread to post your individual goals and then update us with your progress.
We all have mobile phones and lots of us have wrist trackers ie fitbits etc .
You can download a fitness app to your phone and post a screenshot of your daily excersise, then add screenshots of your daily / weekly progress.
Or you can just tell us what your doing in written format .
Not everyone is cut out for the gym or can afford the costs, so we can help each other make the first steps to a new you.
A few words of advise :Take it easy, remember its a lifestyle change and not a sprint
Well done for taking over from our Baz while e is away.
