@janny27 I have seen these on a green felt board with little felt envelopes pegged on and a treat in each one?

Or even something like this?

@janny27 those pegs have so much potential ... you could put a treat in envelopes for each but it doesn’t need to be edible ... how about if it’s for kids things like ‘today we’ll bake cakes together’ or ‘I’ll read you a story’ or ‘film night’

For me, its the thought that went into the present not the cost. Love the smell of real christmas trees!

The question is @geu42 since I have now used most of my gu pot stash can I justify eating another 10 desserts to make more candle holders ... I mean they are on offer in Asda at the moment and the salted caramel millionaires ones are really too good 😋

You're as bad as my daughter @kath72 , she loves those. I bet she's got plenty of those glass pots to spare too Smiley Very Happy

before my fiance and i got together permanently he was not with me at Christmas so i made him a simple advent calender of 24 Christmas cards with lets say words of a personal nature so each morning we was apart he got a lovely sentiment to open which made time apart just that bit more bearable and got us through that Christmas apart
